Wow, it feels like forever since I’ve posted an Etsy {Weds}day collection! I was looking over a few of my past collections and I’ve noticed a trend: I prefer short wedding dresses, I like touches of 50s style, I love a punch of color, I’m not very traditional. When it comes to formal events, black and white is a classic and sophisticated option. The trouble with black and white is that it can be associated with stuffiness and very serious affairs. For a lighter (but no less beautiful) approach, a summer black and white wedding featuring soft shapes, organic materials and a variety of patterns is perfectly appropriate. Etsy {Weds}day No. 4: Au Natural

Today’s gorgeous picks are inspired by nature and the girls that need it to get through the day. I love the randomness of things that grow, natural light in the morning and bare feet in the grass. Whenever I get married, its likely to take place in my parent’s backyard complete with a vegetable garden, a tool shed and an overloaded mulberry tree. On a sunny day, that place cannot be beat.

Etsy {Weds}day No. 2: Peacock Inspired

For my second installation of Etsy {Weds}day, I thought I would take some inspiration from the animal kingdom: the peacock. The only thing flashier than a peacock is a wedding, thus making this a no-brainer.

I love, love, love all of these items! The tones are so rich; the shapes are so dramatic; the sentiment is nothing more than “look at me.” Perfection.
