Just wanted to share a little jam with you guys. There is a lot of awesome happening here. Gayngs is an indie mega group including the likes of Justin Vernon (Bon Iver,) members of Solid Gold, members of Megafaun and about 15 other artists from the midwest. Another interesting bit of trivia: the theme of this Minneapolis show was “The Last Prom on Earth” - which is sort of frightening.
The vid is an eight minute commitment, but if you’re in the mood for a slow jam - the eight minutes is worth it. Love it.

Breakbot featuring Irfane - “Baby I’m Yours”
Breakbot’s “Baby I’m Yours” is an immediate feel-good jam - but I put it up because of the insane video! The director, Irina Dakeva, did 2000 watercolors to achieve this look. What a crazy undertaking! So worth it.

Mystery Jets - Dreaming of Another World
I am absolutely loving everything about this Mystery Jets track and video. The classic aesthetic of the video makes me supremely happy. This just might be the summer’s song of optimism.

The Hundred in the Hands - Tom Tom
I am not feeling the Karen O-ish manipulation of the mic. That aside, I think this is a catchy summertime, synth-pop jam -at least, a worthy addition to your hot season mixtape. Bonus - THITH is touring with The Golden Filter, another love of mine.
