PaperMichelle Feature!
Aww, I love blog features!! Bonnie from Going Home to Roost was so super sweet that she featured my little shop.
Check it out here!

It is almost dad’s day.
Remember when it was just Christmas like five minutes ago? Well, tomorrow is Memorial Day and shortly thereafter, Father’s Day. I’ve got just a couple designs…but I think they’re pretty spectacular as far as Father’s Day cards go. lol. My own father will be getting “You Are So Manly” in one of the two colors. I’m so sorry for being totally not-modest, but this card cracks me up.

You Are So Manly (in yellow)
…and you are in luck, it also comes in blue:

And a totally different, specifically Father’s Day card:

BBQ Father’s Day Card
Lets be honest, dads are pretty important guys; they fix things, they teach us how to fish, they scare off potential boyfriends. I speak for myself when I say my dad is the best dad I know. Reciprocate the love to your daddy-dearest.
P.S. Father’s Day is on June 21st of this year. I’m sure you knew that.
NSS, Franks A Bun!
Ahh sweet, lovely, glorious paper.
I’ve been perusing all the blogs featuring the fab new stuff from NSS…and I must say, there are some really fantastic pieces this year. I really wish I would have gone and I’m hoping that I’ll be ready to exhibit this time next year. Bravo to all who took part and thanks to those reporting back for us drooling, green-with-envy paper lovers to see. By far, my FAVORITE has been this super simple, perfectly hilarious card from the always-whitty eggpress:

Etsy Front Page
I’m really sick today, so it was a nice surprise to see one of my cards on Etsy’s Front Page! Its my first time…and I’m way excited about it. (Middle photo, bottom row…my little Woodland Wedding card!)

I also put together a bright and cheerful treasury tonight…because I’m feeling slightly less than bright or cheerful. Check it out, then send some soup.

Saturday at the Market
There are very few things that I like more than an open air Farmers’ Market. We have a couple nice ones here in the Milwaukee area, and I also live across the street from Whole Foods (which gets me through our brutal, terrible, unfair winter months.)
There is just so much to love about an outdoor market…pretty pretty flowers, fresh seasonal produce, vibrant colors, all those earthy smells, the farmers with stories and remedies, the wares of local artisans and on and on. With the warm weather headed our way, I’ve got the itch to get out to the market and do some shopping. Here are some pretties inspired by this lovely weekend and the market.

Do I look different to you?
You may or may not have noticed that I was MIA for a few days. Its all for a good reason though…look around…PaperMichelle got a sweet facelift! I’m so excited because my blog can actually function like a blog now…go figure. Anyway, I’m really excited about the site…couldn’t wait to get back to it though.

New Mother's Day card!
Over the past few blogless days I’ve been hard at work completing custom and wholesale orders, working on some designs for Mother’s/Father’s Day (see here and here and above) and assembling a fun spring time treasury. You know the drill…click, click, click.
I’m so glad to be back up and running. I can’t even tell you.
everyone loves a birthday
I’ve got a birthday party tonight, so I found myself checking out the vast collection of birthday cards on Etsy. Here are some of my faves. Happy Saturday! XOXO

My 2009 Easter Trio
I’ve got a whopping three designs for Easter this year. I’ve had a lot of fun and gotten into some trouble making them. All three are small batch gocco prints. Please enjoy!
Elephant in the Room No. 2
As promised, here’s another edition of “Elephant in the Room.” This first image is of the lock on my front door. It usually reminds me of a certain fungal friend…
…drum roll please

Haha! Sorry about the finger in the picture, however gravity was my foe this afternoon. I also realize that the gnome is frightening, but I never claimed to be a sculptress.
Happy Saturday!
