Weekend Vintage: June Brides
Wow! I love how June rolls around and there are suddenly so many weddings to attend. I have two tomorrow, so in honor of wedded bliss (and hopefully good weather,) I have chosen a few vintage wedding pretties! XOXO/Michelle
Etsy {Weds}day: A Touch Rockabilly
Let me just say that I almost bought the dress in today’s feature. I love it. My future wedding dress will be something very, very similar, but I’m just not ready to walk down the aisle yet…and having that adorable dress around might be jumping the gun a tad. And oh…those shoes are stunningly fantastic but alas, my feet are tiny, itty-bitty things that will swim in them. Sigh…
Anyway, all of today’s Etsy {Weds}day picks are a mostly girly, a touch rockabilly and all very classy. I love them.

Etsy {Weds}day: Summer Black & White
When it comes to formal events, black and white is a classic and sophisticated option. The trouble with black and white is that it can be associated with stuffiness and very serious affairs. For a lighter (but no less beautiful) approach, a summer black and white wedding featuring soft shapes, organic materials and a variety of patterns is perfectly appropriate. Today’s Etsy {Weds}day picks are just what I have in mind.

Etsy {Weds}day: A Garden Wedding
This past weekend I was able to attend a really lovely outdoor wedding. The ceremony was held in a simple gazebo with flowers and trees all around. The father-of-the-groom had a caterpillar crawling on his shoulder throughout. The clouds threatened to let loose in a very serious way. While it was not an idyllic wedding day, it was a beautiful sort of “one with nature” experience. Today’s Etsy picks are inspired by those brave enough to commit to the garden wedding and all that it entails.

Etsy {Weds}day No. 5: A Modern Bride
My personal style is very simple. I like things to be clean with good lines and solid construction. Here are a few perfectly simple items fit for the modern bride that can’t be held down by the constraints of big bows and ridiculous trains. Love, love, love.

Girly girls, this one’s for you!
This week’s wedding picks have a touch of pale pink for the flirty, feminine bride. They are all so soft and romantic but still in a very modern style. I love them muchly.

Etsy {Weds}day No. 2: Peacock Inspired
For my second installation of Etsy {Weds}day, I thought I would take some inspiration from the animal kingdom: the peacock. The only thing flashier than a peacock is a wedding, thus making this a no-brainer.
I love, love, love all of these items! The tones are so rich; the shapes are so dramatic; the sentiment is nothing more than “look at me.” Perfection.
