“Yes, we have to keep it…”
My little card made the Etsy front page yesterday. That card has always been a secret favorite of mine, so I was happy to see it getting some love. I’m reminding you (*reminding myself) again - Mother’s Day is fast approaching!
Etsy Bride Shout Out!
Miss Claire from Etsy Bride featured my “Bicycle Built for Two” card in a post yesterday! Oh - how I love seafoam green. Check out the other bridal pretties in the collection!
A Busy Day for PaperMichelle!
I had a great Tuesday! I spent the morning working on some custom wedding invitations, and then I got some happy news: a front page feature on Etsy. What an adorable Mother’s Day curation (pssst - don’t forget Mother’s Day!) I actually purchased one of these cards, “You’re My All Thyme Favorite” from DapperPaper. Way awesome!
After that, PaperMichelle got a super sweet blog post from Melissa of Yellow Elm! She featured a little selection of my cards and gave me a lovely shout out. Many thanks, Miss Melissa!
If you see it in the sun, it’s so.
I’m back guys! (Try to contain yourself.)
It feels like forever since I posted on my blog. The last few months have been nuts, but things are starting to wind down a bit. It was nice to spend some time with my family, move out of my apartment, work on my house and sort of clear my head - but the break is over and it is time to get down to business. I will be updating my shop over the next few weeks - hopefully adding some things, changing some things and trying to get back into the daily blog habit.
Something to look forward to - I got a screen printer for Christmas, so you should see some larger prints in shop soon. I’m excited about moving beyond my dear little gocco, but I won’t abandon her. Along those lines, I bought myself this gorgeous print (1897, Louis Rhead.) “If you see it in THE SUN, it’s so,” is a quote from the infamous newspaper (THE SUN) article that inspired, “Yes, Virginia, There Is a Santa Claus.” But I like to think of it in the literal sense - if you see it in the sun, it’s so. Lovely.

Hooray for birthdays!
OK, I’m jumping the gun a tiny bit. Today is not my birthday, but tomorrow is! I will be a whopping 28 years old - which is really wild to me because I remember when my parents were 28. I cannot believe how fast time goes by. Better make the most of it!
As for birthday plans, I’m hoping the day is filled with lots of pink frosting, pretty dresses and maybe a margarita or two with friends and fam. Cheers! xoxo…

How about a jam for the big day? Loving this…been playing it in my car all week. (Sorry, audio only…but so worth it.)
Etsy {Weds}day: Some Old, Something New…
Wow, it feels like forever since I’ve posted an Etsy {Weds}day collection! I was looking over a few of my past collections and I’ve noticed a trend: I prefer short wedding dresses, I like touches of 50s style, I love a punch of color, I’m not very traditional. So, true to form…here are today’s picks which were loosely chosen around the “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue” concept. Love ‘em all!

Vintage Love
Here in Wisconsin things have been cooling down and getting almost fall-like. The leaves are even starting to turn a little bit! Its crazy…but I am loving it. I tried to find some apple cider yesterday but its still too early for that. On the other hand, it is a good time to take a look at my summer wardrobe and put together some summer-to-fall outfits…
Here are some vintage Etsy cuties that would work perfectly in this not-very-hot, not-yet-cold weather. Happy September!! xoxo

Weekend Vintage: Casual Saturday
Today’s Weekend Vintage Etsy picks are perfect for a laid back, sunny Saturday. I’m on my way to my family’s cabin for some summertime relaxing myself. Can’t wait to turn off the electronics, hang out on the porch and catch up on some reading. Happy weekend! xoxo

Tandem Love - Etsy Front Page!
Making Etsy’s front page will never get old. I guess my little Tandem Bike card made it yesterday, although I didn’t get to see it. Thanks to Craftcult, I can still get a glimpse at the company I was in. Lovin’ all the bikey goodness!
