ENDED: GIVEAWAY: Are you a boy or a girl?
Yay!!! We have a winner - who has been notified by email!
Congratulations on all of your little ones and THANKS for participating!
I am announcing a little giveaway from my Etsy shop! Yay! Gender announcing parties have been so in this year - I thought I would get in on the fun. (Seriously - is there anything more exciting than finding out if it’s a boy or a girl??)
The winner of my giveaway will receive a set of 10 “A Boy or A Girl” announcements from my shop. I can customize them to show a little blue or pink heart inside of each egg. It is a cute and memorable way to share your big news with friends and family. Please forward the contest to any expectant mommies or mommy blogs you know!
To enter, do any or all of the following:
- Follow @papermichelle on Twitter
- Leave a comment in this blog post
- Include a link to the giveaway on your own blog (let me know you did it!)
- Retweet my tweets about the giveaway, including the tag #papermichellegiveaway
- Add the new design to your “favorites” on Etsy
I will announce a winner on my blog and twitter on Thursday, June 30th.
Treasury: Don Draper Approved
You know how I love the 50s/60s era, so I must also love MadMen by default. Check out today’s treasury in honor of my favorite, favorite Don Draper and crew.
The Best Year Ever
Happy 2011, everyone! The start of a new year is a reasonable time to pick out a new calendar - so I thought I would suggest a few that would be easy on your eyes for one whole year. (Calendars are a big commitment; might as well be pretty!) I wish all of you nothing but the best in 2011.
Eternal Gratitude on Etsy
Thanks to Etsy for including me in their super cute, perfectly curated post about the all-important Thank You card. Remember - SAY THANKS for all of the wonderful people and things you have in your life.
My Vintage Wishlist
Oh, how I would love to own any and all of these wonderful, vintage, Etsy items. Happy shopping!!
Weekend Vintage: Thanksgiving Ready
Thanksgiving is just a few days away. Don’t forget to give thanks in style. Here are some holiday appropriate and otherwise awesome vintage finds from my Etsy friends.
2010 Holiday Stationery Favorites
I have been working hard on some new designs for the 2010 Holiday season, so I thought I would check out what other paper people have been up to! Here are some of my witty favorites from Etsy.
For a while now, I have been quietly in love with yoote, the Etsy shop owned by illustrator, Taeeun Yoo. Her illustration and lithography are reminiscent of the books of my childhood - dreamy, nostalgic and wise. I looked further into Taeeun Yoo’s work and story only to find out that she is living the life of my dreams; illustrating in NYC, winning prestigious illustration awards (Ezra Jack Keats Award for Excellence in Children’s Literature,) working on some of the finest publications and projects that the world of illustration has to offer. A few words that come to mind - jealous and profoundly inspired. For just a few minutes, turn off your adult mind and get lost in the magical optimism of a children’s book.
Visit Taeeun Yoo’s website for more of her work!
Weekend Vintage: MadMen Halloween
An obvious favorite for Halloween costumes this year is MadMen. I’m kind of wishing I would have put together a MadMen themed Halloween party myself - how fun would that be?? Maybe we’ll just have to have a thematic cocktail party…hmm…interesting idea. Check out these Etsy finds - Joan would approve.
While you’re at it - you should TOTALLY “MadMen Yourself!” Love it.
New Card - Finders Keepers
I’ve got a new card in shop - well, a mostly new card - a new take on an old design. Perfect for your sweeties. XOXO.
