Harlem - “Someday Soon”
The feel-good chaos of Harlem’s Someday Soon was exactly what I was looking for this morning. This video is amazing in a way - it lets you vicariously live out all the things you’d do if you and your friends collectively lost your minds for a while. Fireworks, cemetery pinatas and spray paint…say no more, as I am sold.

Two Door Cinema Club: Something Good Can Work (Acoustic)
I love Two Door Cinema Club’s Something Good Can Work. This acoustic version is particularly good. I heart Irish accents in a big way. The debut album, Tourist History, is out now.

Wisconsin Shout-out from Katie Kirk
I found these awesome wedding invitations on ffffound today - of course, giving them bonus points for referencing Wisconsin. I was also pleased to see that they are the work of Katie Kirk of Eight Hour Day. I love their design and illustration so much - fresh colors and clean lines! XOXO.
WEDnesday Inspiration: 06.16.2010
I mentioned that I went to two weddings this past weekend; they were both so lovely - but incredibly different. One was very traditional in the sense that it was in a church, had a large wedding party, adorable cakes on every table and an amazing reception full of dancing people. The other wedding was equally charming, but its charm came from the simplicity! The setting was our beautiful beach on Lake Michigan (it is actually really, really amazing) and the ceremony was followed by a small luncheon. I loved them both, but the beach inspired today’s post.

Breakbot featuring Irfane - “Baby I’m Yours”
Breakbot’s “Baby I’m Yours” is an immediate feel-good jam - but I put it up because of the insane video! The director, Irina Dakeva, did 2000 watercolors to achieve this look. What a crazy undertaking! So worth it.
